Principal Points

Happy Summer Team Gunpowder Family,

I hope that this message finds you and your family well.  We are very busy here aboard the "SS Beaver" preparing our school for the opening for students on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.  I have been closely monitoring our student enrollment numbers at each grade level each week to ensure that we have enough staff members allocated to our school.  It is critical that all new students enroll as soon as possible, to allow for us to ensure adequate staffing for our students and classrooms at each grade level.   Please, please, please be sure to share this message with new families who have moved into our community.   Many thanks!

Also, a school welcome letter will be sent out to families on August 13th, 2018 and an Open House event is tentatively set for Wednesday, August 29th in the early evening.  We hope you and your children can join us.  We are in the process of scheduling Kindergarten Gradual Entry times and dates, as well as making final decisions related to classroom assignments.  More information to come during the upcoming weeks.  If you have any questions related to enrollment or the Kindergarten Gradual Entry Process, please call our school office at 410-887-5121.

I wish you and your family well.

Proud principal,

Wendy Cunningham
